This is a play about families and their stories, more specifically about the stories in bread. Anna’s grandmother folds her secrets into the dough so that they won’t rise and can’t be shared. Anna tries to break the bread to set the stories free. By means of this work the experiences of the exile and refugee is explored alongside family ties, personal growth and the struggle to find ones place in the world.
